These terms cover using this website to request an appointment, and receiving text message updates from JM Auto Repair.

Booking an appointment

Requesting an appointment online or by phone is a request, not a confirmed booking, and it does not charge you anything. The shop confirms the time with you. We may need to move a time when a job runs long or a part is delayed — we will tell you if that happens. Please arrive at your drop-off time; if you cannot make it, call us or use the status page to change or cancel.

Estimates and repairs

Written estimates are free. We will not carry out work you have not approved. Prices quoted on this site are for labour unless stated otherwise; parts are extra. A diagnostic or inspection is a paid service and is priced separately from an estimate. Final pricing depends on what we find once we see the vehicle.

Text message updates

Text messages are optional and you are never enrolled automatically. You opt in by ticking “Text me about my repair” when you book. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or repair.

What we send: only messages about your own repair — normally one when your estimate needs approval, and one when your vehicle is ready.
How often: a few messages per visit. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
Cost: we do not charge for these messages. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
To stop: reply STOP to any message and we will not text you again. Reply HELP for help, or call (831) 387-7181.
Delivery: message delivery is not guaranteed and depends on your mobile carrier. Do not rely on a text message for anything urgent — call the shop.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your messaging consent with anyone. See our Privacy Policy and text message page.

Using this website

Please give accurate information when you book — we use your phone number to reach you about your vehicle. Do not use this site to submit anything unlawful, or to book appointments you do not intend to keep. We may decline or cancel a request.

Availability and accuracy

We try to keep hours, prices and availability on this site correct, but they can change. Nothing on this site is a binding quote until the shop confirms it. The website is provided as-is and may be unavailable at times.

Vehicles left at the shop

Repair work, storage, payment and liability for vehicles at the shop are covered by the repair order and invoice you sign at the counter, and by California law. Those documents govern the repair itself if anything here conflicts with them.
